“A powerful presentation doesn’t just inform, it rewires how people think, decide, and behave long after they leave the room”

This page showcases a selection of presentations I have delivered in the fields of human psychology, leadership and organisational behaviour spanning a wide range of themes. Unlike consultancy, which focuses on addressing specific organisational challenges, or lectures, which are designed to communicate knowledge and develop understanding, presentations translate complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives that encourage people to think differently.

Invited as a guest speaker for the University of Portsmouth’s civic conference, ‘We See You’, exploring the less visible learning journeys, identity development, and human dynamics that shape service personnel.
Combining academic research with lived experience, the presentation challenged conventional assumptions about how individuals grow through high-stakes environments. Rather than assuming that outward performance improvements mean a person has simply "changed" internally, the session urged leaders and institutions to examine the systemic contexts they create and the judgements they make.
Speaking alongside senior defence leadership, academic researchers, and welfare advocates, the talk addressed critical questions for systems and leadership: Emphasising that effective leadership is not about lowering standards, but about building conditions where potential can be recognised, supported, and allowed to surface. A reflective exploration of how a deeper understanding of human context can fundamentally change what becomes possible for others.
